I had an about me page on here but after updating my blog it just vanish. I don’t know where it went and don’t really care. How are you doing? If you are reading this about me page, you want to know who the heck is Mike Gervis. I have a story to tell just like you but before you go off and click away what’s your dream?

WHO AM I?
Mike Gervis is a father and husband. I live in NYC and I own this blog. You probably wondering why richsplurger.com. Well, when I got started online I asked the people over at the rich jerk what my site name should be. They tell me a bunch of stuff and me wanting to immolate the rich jerk I choose this name.

It’s a little weired. Don’t you think? I tried many times to give it up but for some reason I kept it. I get this questions a lot, why you have a 1 after blog on your domain. True story, when i just installed my blog everything was going great. One day I decided to update my blog. That day was the worst day of my life.

I did not back up my blog. I did not know what the hell I was doing. I read the “read me” text file but that did not stop me from totally killing my blog. It just vanish! I almost cried. I was mad and did not where to turn. I had no friends to turn to. But that taught me a lesson that I will never forget. Don’t mess with shit if you don’t know what the $#% you are doing!

Now, move forward to today and this blog. It’s a new template and I think its cool. I couple of months ago I decided to write a small pdf guide teaching people how to install a worpress blog on their domain when they buy it with HostGator. Getting your own wordpress blog is pretty easy and it is a powerful blog platform. You can have your blog set up in as little as a couple of hours.

The guide is pretty simple and I offer a two week follow up email communication with anyone who download and order they hosting from the ebook.
